Keep the Pi you already have. Vome is only the front door — a proper address and a way in, still with no port forwarding.

Sign-in is with GitHub — that is also how your account gets created. Nothing is charged until you pick a plan.

What's your Home Assistant health score?

The AI reads your instance and writes up what it finds — noisy sensors, a swelling database, backups you meant to take. No account needed: the Vome add-on gives you a code, and the score comes back in a minute. 49 kr later if you want the card to share.

The AI bit

Not a chatbot bolted to the side. It can see the instance, so it can say something useful about it.

Health checks

It reads your instance and writes the findings in plain English — what is wrong, the measurement behind it, and what to do. Free, as often as you like.

The assistant

An assistant that already knows your instances, our guides and which Home Assistant versions we have actually tested. It walks you through a fix, and fetches a human the moment you want one.

39 kr/month

Your own agent

Point Claude, Cursor or any MCP client at your home with a scoped token. Write access is per-token; destructive actions stay opt-in.

Agent directory

Only the findings leave your house — never your states, history, config or backups — and nothing is sent unless you asked. Exactly what is sent, in full.

About

A small, independent project for a community we care about.

Home Assistant is a brilliant thing — open, endlessly customisable, and backed by well over a million people. Running it yourself on a Pi or a NUC works beautifully, and if you enjoy that, keep at it.

Vome starts where you already are. Most people who find us have Home Assistant running fine and one thing missing: a way to reach it from outside the house that isn't a forwarded port or a dynamic-DNS hack. So that is the first thing we do — a proper address, TLS, and a door in front of it that you control.

From there it goes as far as you want. We can hold an encrypted off-site copy of everything, or run the whole thing on our hardware — useful if you need Home Assistant in more than one home (a holiday let, an annexe, a parent's house) without standing up a server in each. Same Home Assistant, same add-ons, either way.

Bootstrapped, and looking for the right partners for investment, distribution or co-development.
